Anna the Faithful – Luke 2:36-40

A new character enters baby Jesus’ life Anna the faithful:

Anna a prophetess. v. 36a
Anna of a great age, v. 36b
Anna a fixture of the Temple, v.37
Anna gave thanks likewise unto the Lord, v. 38a
She spake of Him to all them that look for redemption, v. 38b

Application for our use:

Be faithful to your local church.
Be consistent and persistent in payer and fasting.
Be fervent when speaking to people about Jesus Christ.
