Colossians 1:10-14 Doing the Will of God
The Apostle Paul desired for them to conduct their daily life “in a manner worthy of the Lord, to please Him in all respect” and it should show in the four great goals that he mentions:
1. Their bearing of fruit (v. 10b)
2. Their increasing knowledge of God (v. 10c)
3. Their strengthening in steadfastness (v. 11)
4. Their giving thanks (vv. 12-14)
How do you identify a life that is conducted “in a manner worthy of the Lord”? When you see a life that is bearing fruit, increasing in knowledge of God, strengthening in steadfastness and giving of thanks. Are these manifest in your life?
